Sorrel (rumex acetosa)

Sorrel, a delightful perennial green, emerges early each spring, often before other greens are ready, showcasing its hardiness by enduring frosts once leafed out.

Known for its pleasantly tart, lemony flavor, sorrel adds a refreshing twist to salads and soups alike. Its versatility extends to casual snacking while strolling through the garden or tending to tasks, making it a cherished and practical addition to any kitchen garden.
